Year of the Dragon - Part 2

Spent some time celebrating CNY with my friends other than my family too! My friends came over on a friday night for a steamboat session and also played poker and mahjong while watching running man throughout the night.

Those not in the pictures include Peifeng and Wenkai!Thank you Derald and sis for helping me grill the food and bicky for preparing the steamboat! It was fun, the last few friends left at about 3am. Maybe i would organise it next year again :)

I fell sick the next day and hence chaihuat couldnt come! I spent the whole day with a throbbing headache and a fever. Wasn't fun at all! I don't even know why i fell sick -.- i didn't even eat much of the titbits.

Went to candy's house yesterday to celebrate her ah ma's 87th birthday, it was fun to see the lion dance and we also spent time playing uno with her nieces and also playing bingo with her family. it was fun :)

Year of the Dragon - Part 1

Spent the first day of new year on house visits, visiting my grandmother and also my maternal side of the relatives. Headed over to Sunny's grandmother house during the evening for dinner. It was quite fun, having his aunts teasing him and telling me his childhood stories and showing me his childhood photos. We had steamboat, watched telly, and had a few rounds of mahjong before leaving with sunny to come back to my house!

Played a few rounds of blackjack and also mahjong till 2am! Was fun and such a tiring long day!

Thereafter, spent the second day heading to our godmother house in the afternoon for steamboat lunch. Her food was good as always!

Plum juice she gave me for my sore throat.

Stayed awhile before heading to Sunny's house to 拜年! Ate ANOTHER round of steamboat with his family; the food was really too good to resist! Watched Step Up 2 and played the computer for a bit before leaving to cousin's house at night! Haven't seen them for a while and it was nice. Managed to find out more about them, and wanted to play MJ with them but the adults occupied it :( Hope to see them soon, not on an annual basis!

Spent the third day at home - catching up on my lessons cos i had skipped a few, and went dinner at night w family for lou hei and crab~ Dad says we should make it as a tradition to do it every year. :)

Spent Friday night with all my friends up at my house, eating steamboat, playing games and watching running man on telly! They made so much noise (especially ricky) and it was nice to hear the house full of laughter. I thank them all for coming and hoped everyone left bloated!!! Shall save that post for next time. Look out for Part 2!

Spent the days before CNY having reunion dinners - one with my maternal side of the family and the other at home. During CNY eve, we helped with some of the praying stuff and also 守岁 at night, by playing w sparkles despite the rainy day, and also pigging out at home; watching 贺岁片 on telly or painting nails while snacking. Was fun and fruitful.

I dreamt of my ah gong today! I saw him and he greeted me with open arms. I started crying and sobbing while hugging him, don't know why.

But it was nice. I felt like I needed it. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I woke up.

2011; An Overview

Always wanted to do a summary of this year. I've been pondering over how to begin this post as there are so many feelings and it's so hard to justify it with mere words. I guess it's the writer's block.

2011 seems like a transitional year for me. It seems as if someone up there wants me to grow up faster in time when I reach 21, and made me grow/mature so fast within such a short span of time. I'm still the same person, but just.... a lot more different inside?

Many great events happened to me this year; I've graduated with my diploma, went into a new institution, Sunny went into NS, reconnected and lost some friends. This made me realise how things are - People come and go, but you can choose who is worth staying.

I faced countless rejections even though I fought hard. But I'm proud of it. I'm proud of failing, it made me learn to accept things faster and I've learned precious lessons from them. I don't regret, because I think I really did my best.

There were times though.. where I felt that my heart was just waiting to explode. There is just too much to contain and you feel like giving up..

However, I've learnt to be stronger inside. They say that when a door closes on you, a window opens. I guess for every bad thing that happened I always managde to find a glimmer of hope. That keeps me strong. When things appear bleak, I learnt that you always have to believe in yourself. Be the bigger person. Do the right thing that benefits everyone and not just for the mere minute of satisfaction. Stay calm, and do not act rashly. When you are being emotional, it is the most unwise to make decisions. I learnt to be rational.

'Anything that's worth having, sure enough worth fighting for'

Heard the song 'Fight for this Love' by Cheryl Cole on the way home, and can't help but feeling that this song truly speaks to my heart for this year. I guess for everything it's worth, you gotta keep on fighting.

I want to be forward looking. This year has not been a very good year, but I'm glad it happened because it made me who I am now. Stronger and better. I am grateful for keeping my friends, bf and family together, in spite of all the negativity that had happened. They make me a happier person, and they give me support.

Sometimes, it's not about what happened, but what you choose to do after that.

This year 2012, I want to start afresh. Empty my heart and embrace new beginnings. I'll hope for the best, and prepare for the worst. I hope me turning 21 would be more exciting. I want some 'push' in my life. Being a bit spontaneous would be great.

Life's an occasion. Rise to it.

PS: New blogskin to welcome the new year! I love it because this is the first time I sorta 'designed' it from scratch and not take it from blogskin websites! xD

Christmas

Spent the christmas eve with my sisters~

Watched Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol starring Tom Cruise. Btw my mom's friend has no idea how to pronounce his name so he calls it 冬菇 LOL

Show was really exciting, had me sitting on the edge of my seat for the whole 3 hour plus! Wanted to walk around town but we ended up at starbucks to chill as it was raining! went to orchard for a while and mom fetched us home. took many photos!

Met sunny around midnight and ate supper while having we talked about... stuff. I love talks like this. We ended up talking till 3am plus before heading home~

Spent Christmas day itself with sunny going to his house playing video games and stuff. Was fun! We exchanged presents!!

He gave me the polaroid months ago because he was afraid I would buy it first and he bought the additional polaroid cover for me which i totally LOVE!!!!!!

Bicky's farewell dinner + Other randoms

Back to blog, want to clear out all the past events before the new year!
2 weeks ago, we went to a restaurant near Changi for Bicky's farewell dinner. Miss her very much and can't wait for her to get back :)

Can tell we ate ALOT HAHAHA love it love it love family dinner like this!

Of course, didn't forget about sunny. we spent some time out too~

Other times, i stayed at home and do chores - doing the dishes, washing the clothes, walking/bathing the dogs, buying groceries, etc..

Went with LW to buy groceries at Sheng Siong the other day~

And today's another wonderful day as well. Went shopping in the day with sisters and saw some familiar faces - Casslyn and Lingle! It's really nice to see them, albeit a short while.

Bought some shoes this week for $15, what a steal :) Liwen had some awesome buys too, shoes at 24$ which i find was a good buy as her shoes looked really cool :)

Dinner @ Nan Bei today was great as well. Talks with parents teaching us about life lessons are really great. From dining to rides in the car, we couldnt stop asking questions and we paid really great attention. Glad that this week turned out great. I love me some family time.

Finally, back from hiatus after ALL that studying. I'm seriously glad that the tough times are over. I think I did my best in the exams so I am extremely happy that I get to enjoy the holidays. Well, Bicky went back to Philippines for a month so our family had to do the chores. It's a bit tiring although therapeutic LOL. I miss her a lot but she called back so all's good.

Let me update on some of the outings with my friends during these past months~

PSS OPENING OF CAPSULES FOR CLASS 2007

Yup, went back to school after 4 years! Glad to see that some things never change. Got to see many of my old classmates and some really changed! But it was a very good reunion though. Definitely brought back the memories of the secondary school days. Would really love it if I had a chance to be a student for JUST a day. No responsibilities... ahhhh.

Helped Sunny to collect his because he was still in camp

To our dismay, many of the mural paintings that Candy, Christina, Mr Lim and I helped to paint were gone. This was the only one left I think.. But still I'm very proud of it! :)

MEET UP WITH YIXUAN

Met up with Yixuan before school to help her out on her fashion assignment. I really hope I helped! *crosses fingers* Haven't seen her for a long time and she is thinner now and looking more like a chic designer! :)

GATHERING WITH GANG AND CHONG

Met up with friends at Punggol Riverside w Chong. Was quite fun and had quite a great time chatting, walking around and just laughing loudly. Had to leave early though, due to studying zzz.

CELEBRATION OF CHERELLE BIRTHDAY

Met up with the gang after my school at Cineleisure. Went with the guys to get Cherelle a cake!

Also went to celebrate my family's birthday cos November is the birthday month! And also ate dinner with family recently before Bicky left so there's still more to update! But next time.. tired. Still gotta wake up for chores tomorrow!

Hiatus

Night

Blogging now using the new Blogger iPhone app! Haven't been updating for a while so here I am! have been busy for the past few days camping at Starbucks to accompany my sisters! We have been drinking so much I think we're gonna die from caffeine overdose! ended up applying for the Starbucks card and started ordering decaf and juice though.. don't wanna turn into a coffee addict!

Recently had a case of skin irritation because of my sensitive skin! stupid story so shall skip the details but I had to cancel some outings cos of this and haven't been meeting my friends for quite a while :( it's better now but it's peeling and quite dry so I'm slapping lotion/moisturizer/cream over it!

Anyway i spent a very good Sunday with my family (exclude mom cos she busy) and i was really happy because we rarely spend time together. dad says that we should do it every week! had dinner at Marina Country Club and had fun!

Sunny is away for his SIT camp and he JUST finished his field camp last week previously. can't wait to meet him
soon! the last time he booked out we didn't even meet for a full day! :((

Yes as you can see I'm lazy to blog about HK/GZ day 4 cos the photos quite minimal because it comprises of a lot of shopping and traveling back home and everyone was tired and cranky so...yeah.

Okay that's all I'm sleeping! I have been skipping my Monday classes for like 4 weeks now due to Monday blues and that is really affecting my attendance although I sneaked into the night class a fortnight ago! ah gonna go sleep and I have to settle my exams stuff soon. nights y'all sleep tight!

Hongkong/Guangzhou Trip Day 3

Breakfast in Guangzhou the next day~ Woke up so early and as always, so tired!

This trip is also part of dad's working trip, as he is there to contact his suppliers! Of course we followed! Took some trishaw-looking vehicle and it was a good experience! it was also faster than taxis as it is so compact and is able to weave in and out of traffic! in GZ, the traffic is horrendous! the ride is also quite scary as cars can just zoom SO close pass me. at one point i could touch a moving bus within an arm's length!

Reached the train station! They use these tokens as their train passes and by the end of the trip you'll just slot it in the gantry on your way out! COOL~

Reached the place and took an actual trishaw. the women there are awfully strong! they were the ones who peddled us to our destination.

The streets remind me of Singapore in the 1970s, it was as though I went back through time. People were staring at us, I guess they could tell that we weren't locals. It was really a very meaningful trip and made me realise how lucky we are to be in SG! The traffic is horrendous btw one road can have all the cars going in all different directions! Where's the order people!?

Thereafter, we left the place and took a train to the clothes distribution centre and looked around. Stuff mostly have to be bought in bulk, so we bought like 20 pairs of socks which were crazy cheap!!! stopped at this cosy little cafe for lunch! mmm i love pasta!

Look, they even had a mini clothing shop for the customers to go shopping while waiting for their food!

After that, we left the place AND traveled to another distribution centre! we totally spam on the accessories, such as hairbands, headbands, notebooks and all the funny little things! it was so tiring we left JUST before the place closed!

We also took the time to shop in the areas near our hotel as they were fucking cheap!!!! they used very funny tactics to attract customers by hanging signs saying that they have to clear all stocks as the company is bankrupt - sales revenue is used to repay debts! and they always have this sign 'Last day sales'! my dad said that their everyday is basically the 'last day' HAHHHAHAHAHA

Went to the mall nearby the hotel too, and the mall is really big and good! went to buy so much clothes! didnt take much photos as we were busy shopping! :):)

Hongkong/Guangzhou Trip Day 2

Next morning, we woke up early for breakfast, and of course, we had awesome DIM SUM!

The place seem so small at first but once we took the lift and stepped out, it was goddamn huge. Can't belittle HK, can't judge the place by its cover! HK is full of suprises!

I didn't slept well that night, so I was quite lethargic in the morning unlike my sisters..

Still, I enjoyed my breakfast - the dimsum was good, but maybe the xiaolongbao fell short of expectations. Din Tai Fung's was better!

Oooh and the dimsum had so many sauces to go with it! There was sweet sauce, soy sauce, amd also this red sauce which was vinegar I think, and they also had ginger too!

Went shopping near Jordan, which was also near our hotel! There were so many cute shops!!

Bought Milk tea too, it's so nice, I'm thinking that every HK bubble tea stall sell good milk tea!!!

Bought A LOT of masks!! didnt buy a lot of clothes as the area there are mostly for tourists hence the prices seem to be jacked up by quite a bit! and my dad keep saying that guangzhou clothes nicer and cheaper zzz. The masks are cheaper than SGs and we knew we couldn't buy facial products in Guangzhou, hence we totally spam HAHA. the clothes there are mainly street style though, and it was cool :)

Also headed to this departmental store where we bought stationeries as well as souvenirs for our friends :) Dad went to a massage parlour i think.

Thereafter, we rushed back into the hotel, checked out, and cabbed to the train station! It was so nerve wrecking cos we were running late~

FINALLY boarded the train!

Left our seats and went to the back of the train for dinner! it was a cool experience to eat inside a train, and the food was quite good~ Dad began telling us stories..

After the 3 hr trip, we took a cab near our hotel area and walked there! Dad forgot how to go that place zzz so we had to walk while carrying our huge ass luggage! The hotel concierge took fucking long and by the time we checked in, we decided to just decided to rest in the hotel and end the night.

And... that concludes the end of day 2!

Hongkong/Guangzhou Trip Day 1

Went for a family trip to Hongkong/Guangzhou with my sisters and dad! My mom isn't a fan of traveling, and hence she didnt go with us. It was the first time that we are traveling without our mom, so I was reluctant to leave Singapore.

I was delighted to be sitting on the window seat during the plane ride, and I took many pretty cloud pictures! Brought my Deathly Hallows book to accompany me throughout the ride!

Went in and put our luggage at the reception as we were too early for the check in time. The hotel had 2 flights of stairs, and we had to CARRY our luggage while climbing up! so tiring~

Thereafter, we went to book our train tickets for tomorrow to Guangzhou!

Saw this Guardian store look alike in the train station.. weird.

We were extremely lucky to be able to book the train tickets and yes, we were being last minute as usual.

Our main destination thereafter - HONG KONG DISNEYLAND!!
I was so excited cos it's my first time to disneylandddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!

The train is specially to bring people to disney~ so nice look at the windows and the handles~

Reached Disneyland Station and I was like 'GOGOGOGOGOGGOGOGO!!!!' *dashes*

It's so pretty and clean~

Took the tour train ride around Disneyland to view all the areas and decide where we wanna head to first~ there were a lot of interesting stuff on the way, such as those animal status and stuff.

Touristy touristy feel~

Went to this place to watch a 3D clip~ and ya my sissies trying to be funny..

Went to the souvenir shop after that and played with the hats and accessories there!

Bought a head band with minnie mouse's ears~

Disneyland is the only place where people can just act like a child, there are adults wearing all those interesting head accessories everywhere~

Went to a nearby food shack for a snack!

Played this laser shooting game where you'll sit in the car and there will be lots of targets and you can also navigate the direction of the car so it's quite fun! Dad won as usual..

Also went for the kart ride and the roller coaster which was prolly one of the most exciting rides there! went for it twice HAHA it was exhilarating!

Was eating at this fast food joint and saw Mr Buzz Lightyear and people queuing to take photos with him! Didn't wanna do that even though the queue was short, and we just ate and watched. He kept looking over and making funny gestures towards us! His actions really looks like Buzz Lightyear! TO INFINITY AND BEYONDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD~~~

Took a boat ride to Tarzan's treehouse!

Saw this interesting coin compressing machine where all you have to do is slot in a penny, and it will mold and turn into interesting pictures on the coin to bring home as a momento!

Oh and we wanted to buy popcorn! by then all of our legs are aching so we played scissors paper stone, who lose who buy. yes i lost T.T

Had to cross the street to buy it, but I was stranded there and couldn't get back because there was a big High School Musical parade!!

Fooling around haha!!!

Finally, we were getting REALLY hungry so we went to a nearby restaurant to dine!

Made it just in time to catch the fireworks and OMG LET ME TELL YOU, the FIREWORKS ARE FUCKING SPECTACULAR IT'S LIKE NATIONAL DAY CANNOT EVEN COMPARE OMGGGG!!!

IF YOU GO TO DISNEYLAND AND DON'T STAY FOR THE FIREWORK, YOU MIGHT AS WELL DON'T COME SERIOUSLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Thereafter, we went back and wash up, before heading out again to stroll around and grab some supper before turning in!

Hong Kong streets

Went to this restaurant where the walls are covered with celebrity signatures, had fun looking at them! Saw some like Fahrenheit, S.H.E, Andy Lau, etc.

Caught up with my friends last weekend - had a steamboat session + starbucks!

Haven't seen them for WEEKS due to work, shingles and stuff. So i was way beyond excited to meet them after such a long while! Sunny couldn't make it though, he caught a fever a day before booking out so he had to stay home *sob sob*

Weird thing is that we didnt manage to take photos while eating, must be due to the hunger! Ricky left after the steamboat, which explains his absence for the following pictures.

Went to starbucks - had quite a good time talking with one another, along with stupid jokes and funny antics. still, all was good and it was generally a good day catching up with friends!

New beginnings and Fresh starts

Last day of work today. I had awesome lunch with my manager + rebacca. it was fun and nice, and i realise my manager and i are so alike in many ways! it was sad to kinda leave since its the last day, but i know that new beginnings are ahead of me.

anyway, i started school, and yup im studying ACCA now~ the lecturer is quite good so far, and i know the papers are not easy, but i will try my best! the bad part is that its full of foreigners!!! im a fucking singaporean and im like a minority in my class! yuckkkk...

im still coughing now and it sucks cos i can't eat anything heaty without hacking and coughing the next day. gah.

sunny is serving NS now so i meet him during the weekends! he's now really dark and more muscular! but well he just called me and said he is suffering from a fever so boo:(

Yes, after 3 years of studying in TP, Accounting and Finance, I finally got my diploma!!!!!

Look at the awesome stage - spent 3 good hours sitting there during the ceremony. saw some funny stuff, like a graduand holding a wand and pointing it to the audience, and also some weird shoes.

had refreshments after the ceremony and it's photos galore! a pity that I didnt take more photos though, had trouble finding people! but it was really great fun even though it was a bit warm outside the convention centre -.-

Afterwards, headed down to Playnation with Nadirah for games!we didnt know where to go at first, but i recommended going there because Nadirah loves games and she's good at it too! (thrashed me until quite jialat!!!) It's a good thing that she loves games cos most of my friends not really an arcade person and im so happy to have someone share this interest with me!

A bit buay paiseh we totally wore formal there because it's too hassling to bring clothes to change, and we were totally suagu there because i never knew how to play a Wii before. like seriously, the person had to help me zzz

In the middle of work now. I still have approximately 3 hours more. I know, it's freaking dangerous to blog in a work environment because the colleagues behind me may totally see what im typing but tsk, it's the marketing department so yeah everything's alright~

i've been busy working, and im gonna spend a lot of time with sunny next week because he's leaving for NS on friday :( and i have an interview scheduled on friday, plus i wanna do some handiwork and i've yet to met up with nadirah and june!!! i've also been busy with essays for the past week, and i've still in the midst of reading my book and i haven't been catching up with Skins + HIMYM (wonder latest episode post already?). I've also been spending time playing Sims 3. Yes i'm hooked on it again. it's like an addiction!

Here I am. Have been quite busy these days, from work to spending time with friends, family and bf. It's quite tiring somehow as I always value having some time to myself, and it's really tiring, but nevertheless it's always an enjoyable outing with them!

Work is tiring. Like seriously. Why is that I spend 8 hours glued to a chair but still feel tired? I did nothing for the 8 hours of work on friday and could only watch Rebacca enviously as she does all the stamping stuff! But I'm still glad she's here with me, it makes time pass by WAY faster ;)

Spent this week catching up with friends, especially Yvonne. Haven't seen her since CNY, so it's been like 3 months? Im really glad to be able to still hang out with her and still able to chat so much like we used to. I'm heading out tml yet again, with my poly friends, and we are gonna go sing! I hope it turns out fun!!!! :)

Nowadays the only thing im frustrated at is my lack of vocabulary. I always seem to have this difficulty of comprehending how i feel. it's so irritating when you can't express how you feel with the right words. I guess I'll need to read up more.

The first day is always the hardest

I'm starting my first day of work tomorrow, and the reason why im still up late is because im hoping that the night stretches as long as it could be, because im really dreading monday.

The first day, is always the hardest.

Especially when you're alone this time. I think im just gonna take it with a pinch of salt (hopefully), and welcome any obstacles with an open heart. I mean, thats all that is left to do right? You cant change the fact, but you can change the way you think about it.

Anyway it's just a 2 month plus contract anyway, so i'll just regard it as another internship. The workplace is quite far, but i guess much better in a way? I'll have to walk a lot though.

I hope i'll never get to work, work is boring. Im a piece of lazy shit and all i wanna do is stay at home and roll around! but my conscious is just telling me to get a move on, and start doing something with my life. Afterall, its time = money isnt it? You exchange time for money anyway.

i guess its harder to push yourself when compared to being pushed by something else.

Alright, I shall gonna go prepare for tomorrow. I guess even though i hope tomorrow never comes, it's still gonna happen, whether you get 3 hours or 8 hours of sleep, or even if you welcome or dread this change.

All in all, it was fun! although the places are the same but i really love the cold weather there, and there was a MEGA sale off many branded items like french connection, guess and other branded stuff. i mean MEGA, like 70%-90% of or something. it was like stepping into a dreamland! Plus did some shopping there and well, most of the stuff we bought was cheaper compared to SG!

i played at the arcade, and also played with a new game that involve flipping tables and i entered the all time top 10 high SCORE MWAHAHAHA

hmm, i also drove all the way there, with my butt sore for a 3-4 hour ride and also clocking in like 300km? that's accomplishment and satisfaction righttttt there~

I also went for the motionmaster ride and also stayed out of the hotel, chilling at starbucks till like 4am before heading back. but i didnt get to see cheryl :(

anyway, even though it was fun, i think it would take some time before i returned to genting? prolly cos places to go is really quite limited~

okay im gonna head to bed, went to 51 with candy and cherelle, and even though the alcohol's wearing off, but i still feel kinda tired. tonight's gonna be a good night~

Hi ya'll! As you can see, I changed my spectacles already! my myopia didnt worsen so phew! however my lens were badly scratched because i kept wiping it with my shirt which is deffo a big no-no! i guess i learn my lesson...

i spent the day watching cougar town, and also trying to blog about my Dec trip to Genting by photoshopping my photos, but it was taking too long i guess i'll blog a short post here first. also went down with my sissies + 2 dogs for a stroll downstairs to catch a glimpse at the Super Moon, and it was gorgeous!

k and now im bored. Running Man episode would be released tomorrow and i can't wait to watch, it's so funny and addictive!

actually i've been doing nothing during the hols except watching tv, surfing the net, reading, playing an awful lot of mahjong, and meeting up some of my friends! was glad to meet up and help out rebacca in her music school thingy, and i hope all is well! met up june and weishan yesterday for dinner @ NEX's pizza hut, and it was quite a good catch up session, not to mention attending the Celebration of Learning in which i saw many of my poly mates and had loads of fun with noisy Nadirah(s) beside me!

i know i know, im getting a job soon. yeah im so darn lazy but i know i have too! btw june made me a birthday card and it was so pretty and im so happy to have a friend like her! she totally made my day and i was surprised! thanksssss :D

New Beginnings?

I seem to have an issue with March, nothing seems to go the way that it's supposed to be. I feel like I'm losing my touch, all the things that I used or seem to be at least good at, seems so increasingly difficult for me now. Am I at the brink of my breaking point? Holidays are here and I'm supposed to be at least enjoying myself? But i spent most of my days feeling so heavy, with all the ongoing stuff occurring each day... is this what you call being lost and stuck?

I seemed extra burdened by this holiday, like I'm supposed to do something but i feel so restless, so tired and too demoralized to do anything. I see all my friends being surrounded by doing what they love with so much passion, but i feel like a loser sitting at home and doing nothing, mourning over regrets and occupied with my thoughts that just seem to go nowhere. Before i know it, night has fallen and everything starts all over again, like a rewind tape.

how is that i wanna do everything yet nothing at the same time?

ever since this happened, I just found it difficult to talk to you. i hope it's just a phase because i hate it. i get irritated when i talk to you and it pains me because i don't like it at all, but i hate the 'interrogation' at the same time, as if im responsible for everything that goes wrong and im supposed to answer to you.

so amidst all this mess, im supposed to cross my 20 year old age line with this huge pile of excess baggage? how am i even supposed to feel glad about it? i feel like being 20 means approaching at a crossroad. what you do next is seriously gonna determine how the rest of your life will turn out. everyone seems to have a destination or a plan in mind, but i have nothing.

Regrets.. everyone has a few, but i just don't want mine to haunt me.

Hi I'm taking a 30 minute break from all that mugging, so that explains why I'm here. Okay I'm not really mugging very intensely so yeah.. in fact I think I'm actually quite slack?

Bah I'm gonna spare you guys of all the study talk even I get sick of ranting about it. Bottom line is that this semester is the most important and I should get kicking and be more productive instead!

Anyway I know that once exams are over I'm gonna be damn 无法无天! but yeah considering getting a part-time job though, but i guess i'll think about it after exams are over~

okay the sky is getting dark and i reckon it's gonna rain, in one hand it'll be quite conducive for studying? keeping my fingers crossed!

BTW BTW OH OH OH the taiwanese show 爱 is finishing like YAY! it's been airing for YEARS and finally its about time they end that show! even im getting impatient of waiting for the ending already lor!

Here are some photos when my friends came down to my house for CNY! I'm so happy as most of them are able to attend! LALALA~ and my mom was so happy by their attendance!

poor weishan fell on her way here and ended up scraping both her knees! had to do some clean up for her but everything worked out fine! also got to see other old friends like yvonne! I last saw her 6 months ago, excluding the coincidental meeting at popeyes punngol! not to mention that my dogs are very happy as always, ESPECIALLY happy who like to sit on our poker cards when playing blackjack or big2!!!!!!

as you can see im much more free now so able to blog! but i cant say for the next few weeks because exams are comingggggggggggggggggg! :(

anyway its time for uni admissions... which means its literally time to grow up and move on to another phase of life. hate thinking what i'll do next and its so hard to accept that we are moving one step closer to working life. i just cant imagine holding so much responsibility when i become a young adult. i don't see myself like that, being a working professional ew that just sounds wrong.

but nevertheless, i guess such is life. so i'll just have to hold on tight and see how it goes :)

Waiting for weekends

This friday would officially mark the end to ALL my projects this semester, and I can't say how relieved i am right now! I've been so tired and lethargic lately that I keep dozing on the bus to and fro from school for like 3 days straight! I know i keep repeating but its just because i normally dont do it at all! It's like LW's talent, not mine.

anw the first 3 days of CNY just passed~ i hope everyone enjoyed their CNY though. maybe as we are growing up, the novelty of CNY just wears off year by year because its not so exciting any more when you were young? I remembered that snacks and soft drinks were a big deal in my age, house visiting and buying new clothes were so exciting! But now shopping feels like a chore, especially when it came in the wrong time!

however, despite what was mentioned earlier, i managed to have a better time compared to last year! maybe because we went for more house visits, and even had a chance to dine with some of my cousins at Long Beach! Didnt really get to do that last year which was quite a bummer. i found out that some of my relatives used to be those extras you see on tv, and also a pair of twins! 2 70 year old twins thats damn cute ok!

furthermore, a group of my friends came to my house for CNY! i was quite glad that most people turned up tho, it was quite last minute and i initially wanted a small gathering, but since its CNY, the more the merrier! i wanna thank my friends for being so spontaneous~

Tax Competition + NAPFA

Finished my work for the day so I'm here to blog! The tutorial i was doing was damn tedious man, 4 hours for one bloody question which is totally sian half. anyway i finished my test today and it's a bit worrying because i might not really... do well? Arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I went to NTU for a tax competition last weekend, it was bloody far - all the way at Jurong! Luckily my dad fetched in the morning and I had a hard time navigating my way there cos it's so damn big and I had to stop and ask around for directions. Saw Benedict and some of the other colleagues there which was surprising! found out that they were actually one of the main sponsors of this event and they are here to give a talk regarding future prospects of working in KPMG! yeah and IRAS came too. I think it's like the 3rd time i heard their talk! Oh and i also saw some of the ex-interns from NYP as well as Edwin - Edward and Rebacca's friend! so happy to see so many familiar faces! :D

anyway since we completely came for fun we totally just ended up not entering finals and scooting off to explore many of the places and take photos!

Feeling damn sian when it was time to go home - travelling time damn far ok! luckily i had shu hua for company and we talked throughout the way home. took me 2 hours plus to reach home i was damn lethargic :/

MOVING ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN...

I had my NAPFA test last thursday! everyone around me contemplated not going to mug for the paper but in the end some ended up spontaneously coming! I was set on coming ever since they told us; how can i miss a chance to exercise! exercising is really one of my favourite thing to do because you can just play and have fun! i especially like NAPFA because i never got the discipline to really run and it helps me to see what i can actually achieve!

i went running on a sunday as a form of practice but turned out i was sooo rusty i ended up getting a headache and a terrible muscle ache which lasted all week! and yeah i thought jogging would perk me up but i ended up getting more tired and took a long nap!

by thursday my body was still aching so i wore jeans to school + put yoko yoko as an attempt to sooth my muscles before the test! learnt that the reason why my body ached so much was that i didn't do warm up + stretching exercises which is really important to help u reduce your body pains. to think i use to disregard it so much HAHA cannot look down on stretching and warm up hor!

anw it was really fun, i think i did better in the 5 stations compared to sec 4 which is damn surprising but my 2.4 totally got worse which was expected! luckily i passed my NAPFA heh heh it was great fun! i had the help from my sissies and friends who made sure i got a lot of stretching done, and actually helped me quite a lot! i also learnt a lot of tips to help perform better in NAPFA! bad thing about NAPFA was that it was so darn draggy we reported at 4.45pm and we ended at around 10pm like WTF. somemore there was a bimbo from another course in my group BUAY TAHAN!

We also had tags are a form of identity when you run so they can mark your rounds. Dammit they told me to shout my number when i run past them! like how am i suppose to do that when im half dead and all out of breath! i just totally stared at them when i ran pass and gestured to them my number tag lor.

One funny thing about the 3 of us is that our number tags are consecutively numbered, and we finished crossing one after another too, skipping like only one number only. it was fun, and would be better if there wasn't any test the next day (today lor).

Good ol'll January

It's January again! I always feel as though we are running in circles with each passing year, picking up from where we left off!
Currently blasting songs from Coldplay, it's really a good listen especially in the night.

January so far has been quite busy, and I can only foresee myself continuing this way till start of feb? Though tired and drained everyday, this hectic schedules also makes me feel quite satisfied that I'm maxing out my 24 hours with each passing day!

The bad thing about it tho, I feel as if I've missed out a lot.

I missed out a lot of fun and opportunities to hang out with friends! Wanted to meet them but it's so hard and I feel like I'm missing out on a part of their life, especially when I feel that they might need me to you know, confide in or just catch up!

Had to painfully reject invites from Cherelle Candy Rebacca and even Sunny :(((((( Only met up with my friends once so far... at Aglio Cafe?

Luckily I have Nadirah and June with me in school!!!!!!! at least makes me feel better + good classmates.

&&& I HATE SUNNY FYP ITS EATING SO MUCH OF OUR TIME THAT WE CAN SPEND TOGETHER, which is really very little fyi!
so it's sad. haven't seen him since like 1st Jan. Luckily I managed to dig out some time tomorrow!

Anw I have some resolutions yet to be made; but I'll keep them to myself!

So anw, I have NAPFA next week, meaning jogging on a Sunday morning, as well as squeezing in time for CNY shopping + projects. Tax competition on Saturday means I must wake up at 6am to go JU-BLOODY-RONG. and also a test next week and another one after that and so many crap in between. might not sound that busy but I AM!

now I just hope to HAVE MORE TIME

It's 4.35am, and my mind is already thinking about sleeping and yes, i'm still here to blog! I wanted to do an overview of my 2010 year when i thought about it a month ago, but i think it really isn't going to happen, because im as busy as hell! i'll still prolly try to make it happen cos i want to take it happen!

it's kinda ironic when i say im busy but im always tweeting about all the shows im watching! oh well need to curb my habit of being a couch potato.

anyway yes it's the last day of 2010, and i intend to savour every minute of it! i guess this means waking up earlier~ bad thing is that this means im hitting the big 2 next year! AHHHH i feel time is really too fast. i don't even feel like im growing up, but reality has spoken otherwise.

okay abrupt end of rant i am still down with flu and my head feels heavy. is it me or is singapore becoming colder?

Spent my Xmas hanging out with Sunny when he came here to chill. It was a whirlwind in the morning though, as I had to rush my card and also help to walk the dog and do some chores since bicky was out. We went to Popeyes at Punggol East for dinner and also watched Running Man! Popeyes is located at such a secluded area that I was afraid for a moment - it was dark and there was lightning okay! Plus it was sorta like an open field with no surrounding tall trees so yeah.

Anw running man was funneh as hell! Watched it again with my sissies again and yes still very funny ahahahahahhaha

This, is me. This is how I look like, freshly taken at 3am in the morning. The photo actually can't capture my begrudged smile as well as my little frown and well, my fatigue. I guess this is what happens when the the megapixels of a webcam suck.

After juggling my projects and running to and fro for the past days, I thought I'll blog about all happenings the past few weeks, all starting from my internship!

God I know it must be quite sickening, cos i keep mentioning in my blog! I can't help it either too :)

So, before we knew it, time just flew past like crazy and it was time to leave KPMG. It's really such a wonder how time passes so fast, it's like fast forwarding constantly, until you stop to realise that it's.. over. Sometimes when I think about it, i still cant believe that i spent 3 months there. It actually feels as though I spent only 6 weeks there... or less. I love my interns and colleagues, because they are such a wonderful bunch to be with! I feel very comfortable so I think I might actually come across as quite straightforward, speaking my mind as to how i feel and what i wanna say. I hope im not THAT tactless tho, and i hope me shooting my mouth off doesn't really offend anyone? :)

I started my last day going to work in quite a groggy state, as I slept at 4am the previous night, packing all the little little gifts for my colleagues. Definitely didn't help when my car battery when kaput in the petrol station tho, and we were stuck there for 90 minutes and my dad had to come jump start the car. However, the good thing was that there was actually nothing much to do, as it was past the tax deadline. So we just chat around, running around to my friends there and chat, or crap with the colleagues! :)

Colleagues gave us a treat to Youmen Ya Goemon at Marina Link Mall! Spent the next two hours chatting before heading back, and distributing the gifts, and left the office around six plus. It was like chocolate spam because everyone we know was distributing chocolates! I was so full with all the chocolates!!!! Went out with the interns, and CHERYL CAME! Majority of us headed to Vivo where we ate the FoodRepublic - Freaking hilarious because Rebacca, ChiwFoong and I bought food from the same stall and mine was too spicy, Reb's too salty, and Cf's too sweet. Mine was seriously spicy, as it i couldn't even finish 30 mouthfuls lah please!!!!!!

After that went to a random corner and started chatting before we split. Saw fireworks too - highlight of the day! Well everything ended quite fast, and i ended up being quite alert and chatty the whole night! I went back 2 weeks ago to visit them tho, had quite a chat, and i miss them very much! However, school is starting so... let the boring and stressed routine begin!

Anyway, I'm having a short trip to Genting on sunday! It's been a while, and i totally love the cooling atmosphere there, so it's good to have a change in weather compared to sunny singapore (See what i did there?). Quite excited because i was quite worried that i might not collect my passport in time!

Well right now i miss my friends. have not been seeing them for quite a while! *whines* I just have so much to do right now, and i ended up bailing on them because i was just too busy to have fun! I wanna meet up with them soon soon soon soon you guys hear me?!

Semester 3.2 is here, meaning the projects, tutorials, tests are all flooding in like lao sai. Plus the internship I'm due to hand in after this 2 weeks break (now is mid sem break) and the fact that i'm going to genting and my passport stuff is hassling and not done yet, i'm really hanging on thin ice.

i've really a lot of things to say, i miss my intern friends as well as my clique. didn't even get to meet them and had to cancel due to impending work. I still gotta head to my mom's office to help her with her work, and im considering taking tuition cos my sis just offered me one.

SO BUSEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. okay i gotta go do project already bye bye

It's 12.46am so I decided to pop by and update this little dusty space of mine. I have SO MUCH to say but Im currently really not in love with my new blogskin now.. so it really gives me second thoughts about blogging when you dont like to visit your BLOG!

anw, i'll get that covered pretty soon... later in the week perhaps? Internship ended, and it's really a fun and an amazing experience, got to meet all the awesome new friends and colleagues, and im really sad that it ended. It seems that somehow things after that are returning to square one, and i'll wonder if the people involved will really remember the 3 months afterall. I mean it's short, but i hope it'll mean something to the people as much as it means to me.

Today was the first day in school, and it just felt totally weird. I just kinda felt distanced to school already, not to mention all the past lectures/studies i've learnt keep flooding back, and seeing old friends, classmates, teachers, just made me felt like that awkward and weird kid in poly again who only resides comfortably in her own circle. Argh I hate it.

Anyway for this new class, I just hope people like me and i just along well with people, get good grades, do my best, get busy and stop wasting time like water, and actually let the 3 months be a productive one.

I guess that's enough for today, i'll update more with pictures! for now, im really glad im having lunch with suehow and libeike tomorrow mwahahahahahha :)

Imma frigging pig. Just took a 3 hour nap and all and I feel tired all over again. Shall get to sleep soon? I'm still hungry and the fried rice tasted weird cos it was left from the afternoon till now! Pray that I don't get a tummyache zzz

Spent the saturday going back for campus session and luckily weizhong drove me to school! awesome max and kudos to waking up late! had a little chat and i hope everything goes well for him :)

went to Kikki.K at tampines mall with Shufen and bought some stuff! our pencils are chio~ she keeps making my days by telling me stuff i don't know about - Deepavali Holidays, School Holidays, Nice Food and now we have awesome pencils!

Met up with June and Weishan and their friends and we ate lunch at pizza hut! quite full man, and we roamed around walking and looking before heading home.

Internship is ending in 3 weeks time? Time passes like soooo fast and we're back to school before you know it. hate how me and my friends are split this year - none of them same class as me sob sob! oh well, i just pray hard that this semester is good :)

Internship

Back on blogger, now munching on doritos and getting down to blogging business :)
I'm midway through my internship now, and i'm pretty used to what i'm doing so far. my intern mates are TOTALLY AWESOME, and i think that my internship might pretty much suck without them. like seriously, it's good to have a group of mates that totally clicks well with me even though we've only knew each other for 2 months. can't think what i'll do when internship ends...

Yes, dozing off while putting on a mask. That's how tired i was. it's amazing how one can get SO tired just sitting in on a desk for 8 hours! i seriously wonder adults manage their friends, love, family on top of work life. ew to work life man.

Cheryl's Last Day

Before we knew it, it was Cheryl's last day, and well i was kinda upset cos she has only been with us for a month! i really like her very much as a person tho, i hope she comes to have lunch with us when she ends early from school? :)

Yes, she gave me flowers on her last day! It's sitting nicely on my desk now :)

Ritz Carlton Company Dinner

Fortunately, we got to meet her on a Monday for the company dinner!it was really nice to see her, and the food was great! we sat there and chatted like for 3 hours before leaving!

Finally found a drink near my workplace which was slightly cheaper and tastes on par as Koi.. ESKIMO! It was really not bad, and the queue was shorter than KOI :)

Also had my first cup of Earl Grey this week. i was asking shufen and edward what it tasted like but they couldn't really explain.. could only tell that it has a tangy smell to it but doesn't taste anything like orange. in the end the drink was refreshing and quite nice :)

i wanted to drink another cup but i think i drank too much tea the past week. drank ALOT during another department dinner, at Victorian Peak! :)

I'm up at 3am in the morning with an orange sky - expecting rain to come.
Anyway, I thought I should just update this space of mine. It has been 2 weeks.
2 well, exciting weeks.

Anyway, these past 2 weeks was me working as an intern in KPMG, and it's great cos i made a lot of friends, regardless from TP or from other school interns. I think as a whole i get along with them really well, and all of them are really nice! so it's actually quite awesome to have someone to rant to, especially when they understand your plight. These past 2 weeks of interning felt like cramming for a subject - so much to learn and absorb, to familiarize yourself and make friends over a short span of time! Internship is great as it sets me thinking about well.. everything else possible. Whether all of this made sense. I'll leave this part till next time, or until you have been one of the victims of my rants. I hope to expect more challenging work tho, I admit I expect a lot from myself and I'm still learning to take in everything so far. On another plus side, my body clock's healthier! I've been hitting the sack at 1030 or 10pm, and waking up at 6am! (zzzz) 8 hours of sleep is still not enough tho, I slept at 9.30pm before and I can still feel sleepy during work time! There were a lot of upturns and downturns throughout my work, but I think it's always good to stay positive and take things in stride! there is an immense amount of things i learnt, which is just impossible to condense in a few paragraphs. Most of it are very thought-provoking matters and really sorta taught me life lessons and inspired me, in more ways than one, regardless of me being an intern myself or hearing stories regarding their SIP from my friends.

Spent the saturday going to school for campus training and also met up with sunny today, it's our 2.5 monthsary (ew im using this word i feel so cheesy and lame)! he bought me these sticker/speech bubble stuff to ward off against any negative emotions i might feel during SIP and it's so cute i think i can paste it on my workspace! I think happy likes it too ahahaha

anyway, wtf is a creamy centre this sentence is just plain wrong!

Anyway, this would be my last public post. Yes - I'm locking up my blog. While it is interesting to know that random people can come and read my lame blog, it is also quite discomforting at the same time. Of course, I will add some of my friends that I think who reads my blog (bhb-ish) here, but if you read it and I don't invite you, just feel free to ask me! Through facebook because my hotmail and msn is screwed zzz.. you must have a blogger account btw. I'll find someway to sneak sunny in my blog HAHA

PS: Sometimes I think that the human mind is such a dilemma - Do you say the ugly truth in someone's face, or should you just keep quiet because that person should already know what he/she should so by now? It's so confusing on how to play the good person sometimes. Right now I'm in a ball of flames but I'm choosing not to say anything. It's very difficult, because i feel so bottled up now, but I think it's the right thing for me to do for you now. I just feel painful that I would have given 100% best to get what you have right now, and it sucks to see you throw that away.

PS/S: Sometimes I can't even differentiate between who's a friend and a foe anymore. As the saying goes 'keep your friends close, and your enemies closer'. Amidst all the socializing, i hope i don't get to see false pretences or getting a stab in the back. I rather they come and tell me in the face that they dislike me rather than doing all the dirty work behind my back. If im only a friend for very supeficial benefits for yourself then heck it - im walking away from all this. I won't say whether anything is happening to me right now, or anything is not. I'm just saying.

Weishan birthday celebration!

Met up with the girls 2 days ago to enjoy the holidays! It also served as a belated birthday celebration for Weishan since her birthday fell during the exams. Went to Cine for Sukisushi and had a spontaneous idea for Kbox thereafter! Haven't been singing in ages manzxzxz

Food Galore! Yumzxzxzx i ate quite less tho, the sight of the huge amount of raw meat reminded me of a bad experience with my sissies at sukisushi last time... T.T

kbox next! quite fun tho, this was the only place that offered 2-7 at 8 bucks instead of other places! had to make various calls, and it was worth it :)

Yes, exams are OVER like finally! i don't really feel the sense of liberation tho, maybe because I didn't put in much effort? Anyway I am just glad it's overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, and I really have to thank June for helping me with my subjects throughout the semester break! It's really awesome to have a study buddy who don't mind you pestering her haha so im glad :)

bad thing tho, I have 6 days till the first day of SIP. feeling tingly by the thought of this, it's so scary how time passes! I have 6 days to buy clothes and do a lot of stuff and 6 days deffo isn't enough! Oh well.. Its always so much to do and so little time.

anyway went out with Nadirah after exams! went to have lunch at tampines mall and checked out the newly opened hershey's chocolate shop! saw the biggest chocolate bar in the whole and it was so heavy i almost dropped it! went to marina square and even tho it was short, i had fun :)

Felt like visiting my little personal space here, haven't had the time to blog since self-defined mugging period started. There's only 18% in this laptop now so maybe I'll just make this a quick one?

I feel like DYING this whole exam period man; I can safely say that this. is. my. slackiest. period. ever!!!!!!!! Seriously sometimes my actions just totally freak me out as to how last minute I can be. Normally when it comes to exams Im totally well-planned and all but this time everything just turns out so... WEIRD. I keep disappointing myself and doing less and the worse thing is, I can still feel so composed at times these days.

Ackkkk and the worse thing is, if you ever tried telling it to anyone that you slack, prolly 99% of the people wont believe you. They might prolly just scoff and think that Im a closet mugger! But seriously in comparison Im doing wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Tuesday's tax test and I didn't even TOUCH tax today at all. What's wrong with me? Can't resist Iphone games, twitter, and most of all.... THE TV!!! My eyes are totally glued on that screen. Doesn't help if we have so much channels either! If you look at my twitter Im always tweeting proudly what shows im watching lor zzzzzzzzzzzzz and the only way for me to NOT watch tv is when bicky watches the Filipino channel. WALAO EHZXZXZXZXZ

Feeling shitty and upset.
It's like when you struggle; to voice out or to make a stand, no one listens. Heck it, nobody even knows you are feeling that way.
So what now? Either all of them are being terribly insensitive or you are an incredible loser with no presence and worse of all, you are not heard.

just wish that someone would just read between those lines and tell me what I feel.
what is this feeling of... despair. anger. sad?
don't even know anymore.

it's funny how these small little things just lead to another with tremendous compounding effect until you get so upset not by that single little thing anymore, but the reactions you get from people.

just feel very shortchanged for my entire 19 years suddenly.

Im feeling very happy/satisfied because miss-horrible awarded me my points! It was all worth it man, all the fighting! I swear I'll detest her forever more. Never seen such an irresponsible tutor before!

Anyway, let's just skip all that negativity and just enjoy this post! Nune came to Singapore with her sister for a tour, and we met up at Chomp Chomp for supper/dinner! Such a pity tho, I had stomachache and it was pretty bad, hence I didn't get to see her off at the airport. Oh well, there's always a next time! Last thing she said: 'I'll see you when I see you!'

I think it's quite comforting for the fact that my friends and I still remain in contact with Nune despite having her studying overseas and all. Thanks Yvonne + Candy for the effort!

The other day, I accompanied Sunny for his site visit near Buona Vista, as he needed to take photos around that area! Again, it was scorching hot at first but it ended up raining. Again. Really when we go out, you can almost expect rain around 80% of the time and we'll just blame each other LOL

Anyway the site was basically just an empty plot of land with wild grasses and trees! He also took me to the old railway track that was once used by Singapore.

It was quite scary tho, because it was the beginning of the 7th month and there was a deserted sorta hut there and completed with the whole old railway track look, it was just plain scary! I wonder why they didn't remove the hut or something..

eeek Sunny's glasses are dark cos of that special lens.. thingy.

Woohoo btw went to school with June today and had dinner with Candy at Tampines. Haven't met her for such a long time and well had a girl/ heart-to-heart talk. I love talks like this! Overall such a happy day in addition to miss-horrible adding my points wakakakakaka

Finally Im well enough to blog about past awesome events! Got sick few days ago, and lazing around reading books and slacking doesn't help with the procrastinating! I have TONS to update, and time is just so constraining now that the study break is one week shorter, which means one more week nearer to start studying :(

Anyway, finally had a second outing with cousins @ Illuma! Katherine brought her BF as well, and we decided to watch Salt and also play arcade and have dinner! it was quite fun playing the street fighting thing vernie was very funny!

oh, also queued like hell for koi but koi was good :)

Settled down to Ebisboshi Shotengai for dinner. Didn't think the food was great and the service is just blah. So must confusion due to the different method of ordering. Why act so IT savvy when it's just creating more work and just making people frustrated. Combination of hunger and frustration NOT GOOD.
We ordered 8 chawanmushi and only got 2 of the veggie kind ONLY. WTH you are a restaurant and we are NOT patronising you in the wee hours, its 8+ pm leh god do improve your stock take please! doesn't help when the taste wasnt good also! Vernie, Shuyun, HL, LW, and I took turns to eat the chawanmushi round-robin style, spoonful by spoonful! A bit pathetic LOL but also hilarious with the occasional grumbles!! HAHA

it was katherine's second trip i think, and she was equally unhappy with the first one. The dessert thingy took so long and we were almost late for the movie. GSR & Kat argued and in the end - Complimentary!

Did a lot of GSR zoom-in shots but lets just keep that away shall we :)

Ice Cream + Movies on a friday night

Met up with Sunny today after like a week? Yes, Im now meeting him like once in 5 days or something? Yeah it's hard tho but at least we get to meet? :) Anyway it's 2am in the morning and I wanna get this done so I can head to bed!

Ooooh btw hung out with Lilin after tax lecture and god I miss that girl! It's been so long since we ever get to really talk because we were in different classes already, and she is often out and running about and it's really hard to see her these days cos she is often so busy with her stuff! Btw congrats on her self-securing her SIP :)

ALSO, met Weishan on a thursday to watch movie together - The Socerer's Apprentice! Nicholas Cage - Awesome actor! and the male lead is cute! Hahaha overall nice show but I was hoping to catch Inception tho! I must watch it soon, maybe monday with weishan again :D

Anyway, Sunny treated me to my first ever Haagen Dazs ice-cream, which was more than I could EVER ask for since I was really having bad mood these days. I use to think that food therapy doesn't really work but there you go, it worked for me (maybe it's only ice-cream). Best therapy for me would be TV and ice-cream I guess :)

Guess what.. it's EVERYONE's first premium ice-cream ever! I guess it's because we rarely spend so much on premium food.. it's like you whatever you eat still gotta shit out anyway so it's ultimately a waste of money or something..

Oh yeah we watched a chinese movie too! Remember the 大内密探灵灵狗? Awesome as everrrrrrrrr!

If that's what you think, then I must be pretty darn stupid/useless in your eyes, always getting busy over NOTHING.
At that point I was feeling ugly and fucked up.
My self worth really didn't need to be any lower, tyvm.

I guess it's supposed to make me more determined to reach my goal now?
right now, I'm just afraid of suffering a heavier fall.
maybe I should not put my hopes up in the first place.

One day, I wish to achieve it, and maybe change what you think of me now.

Class BBQ

Oh my gosh I am updating so frequently (I know right?) but no one else is! So blog people, so I can continue to read/stalk your blogs! Anyway had class BBQ yesterday! Had to leave early tho, I wished that the BBQ started earlier :) The food was fabulous, I just kept eating and eating! One of the BBQ in which I ate most food! Normally I don't eat much, I have no idea why.

Anyway Yichen's condo was beautiful! It looks plain on the outside, but it's so beautiful inside! The pools are so nice! The only thing bad was the security guard who insisted the BBQ-ing stop at 10pm. I wondered if they finished the 8kg prawns tho, but i think we pretty much ate everything else!

XiuHui started whipping out her camera and clicking all the way straight after AA lecture ended!

Anyway, headed with the girls to Century Square and had lunch - Pastamania. Yes woohoo big shock to those who know me well - i do not frequent there often. Had 2 bad experiences there, hence had the impression that the food was quite cheesy. Cheesy - not my kind of thing.

But LW showed me the menu few days ago when we walked past so I decided to eat there! HAHAHA okay it was really quite full! Caught 'Despicable Me' (again, yes i know) and i still think it's worth watching twice! Agnes is cute, and Gru was funny! Didn't even realise that the scientist was voiced by Russell Brand!

Walked around thereafter and reached the condo around 7pm!

I think Im quite afraid of cats - Im fine with them, but when they come near me I will sorta wanna escape. Except christina's cat, haha nike so cute! Well, had quite some fun there! I wished I could eat more tho, I was quite satisfied, but not bloated! Hope to have more BBQ like this soon! :)

Very sick of my blogskin layout now, I guess I made the photos too big - the whole blog looks distorted. Im gonna find a simpler and nicer layout soon (keeping my fingers crossed) and hope this old blog of mine will look nice! :)

Finished all my tutorials for the week before 8pm. Yes, that's how ON I am (as Nadirah always puts it). Im just spending some time surfing on the web now before turning to my storybooks later. God I miss reading! Haven't been surfing the web for some time already.. iPhone is officially taking over my my vaio.

You can tell im quite free right? judging from the number of times Im blogging! Fortunately yes, I am more free now, and a bit unused to it. While relaxing and taking back some time to relax and enjoy, I still sorta prefer the busy schedule I had few weeks ago. It's like you are living each day to the fullest! Tiring tho, I must say. I guess I should not treat this free period as a 'slacking' time but a time for me to recharge :)

School has been kinda great recently with my schoolmates! But i miss my old ones too, when can we meet again ah?

Anyway after school went to have lunch at Tampines Mall with Casslyn and Nadirah @ Long John's, followed by going to Nadirah's house to chill and played games like mastermind and watching Ripleys'! Nadirah grows chili padi outside her house no wonder her mom and her are chilipadi queens!

Class BBQ tomorrow, and I heard they bought a lot of stuff. 8kg worth of prawns to start with, 100 otah and 150 satay as well as 100 chicken wings? Seriously we really CANNOT FINISH. i guess I should leave my stomach empty before heading to the BBQ.

Having a cousins gathering soon (steamboat), which is still keeping me quite happy these days! Steamboat~

Anyway Sunny's off to his SIP already, and he is already very busy on his first day! I think he has some competition thing and that his working hours will only be back to normal next week. Hope to see him soon! <3 It's gonna be my turn soon, and I kinda dread it. It's like going to school for the first time and we have to restart all over again zzz. Im also scared that I might not be performing up to expected! 3 months is a lot of time. Really don't wanna be an OL! I think many people would stereotype OL Accountants as boring..

Okay Im going off to read Chamber of Secrets now~ Im still amazed by JK Rowling's works, she just NEVER ceases to amaze me! It's like everytime i reread the book, I always discover something new! I bought the books with the drawings for the cover. The classic never get old, and that the series started out as a novel for the children :D

Cousins Outing

Finally managed to go out with my cousins after some procrastination! This was the first time we were meeting, and I haven't met some of them for about 1-2 years!

Watched Despicable Me and had brunch in HK cafe! Caiyun managed to win a Hello Kitty plush toy from the arcade machine!

anyway i just finished my busiest period EVERRRRRRRR! no more coffee spams and staying up late in school, although i must say it was fun to hang out with my project mates! we smuggled titbits there everytime and had to run from library rangers, and even went as far as to smuggle chicken nuggets (casslyn lor!)

then when we thought the rangers are walking pass we started hiding the food and the curry sauce was hidden in my bag!and it burst the next day and my bag ended up smelling like curry sauce! it was funny, and im happy to get such awesome mates :) i dunno what grades our projects will get but it was fun! we really play hard and studied hard :)

okay off to read my hp book soon i bought it from a book sale from PP 5 bucks each heehehee

anyway the whole trip was real fun! it was a lot of catch ups and singing songs! we were so lucky to have the BIG room to ourselves and i was quite excited. a pity we had to end early as i gotta go attend the opera thing my dad sponsors every year for the dragon boat festival. sunny came with me too! good thing was that he didn't find it boring.. :D

Finished editing some photos and wanted to post them up but photobucket is effed up and refuses to upload my photos! i want it big, so damn big!

anw attended the ACCA talk which lasted for 1 hour 30 minutes instead of the promised 30 minutes. SICK lor so damn long i had a 2 hour lecture before that and my butt was like BURNING.

met weishan, candy and yvonne after school and off we went to met yixuan! wah so long nvr see them already! had roti prata as dinner and ate beancurd for deserts! i love the warm one compared to the cold one heheheheheehe

chat and laughed quite a lot. okay i did quite a lot of talking HAHAHAHA i was damn thirsty by then and i keep going toilet!

anyway there is bus service 85 near there! omg woots damn happy the bus is like right at my bus stop i can just take the bus and meet yixuan straight! she wanna go for swensens breakfast soon woo let's hope we can go have it soon!

This is the day of making rice dumplings! I invited Sunny & Candy into my house for a little rice dumpling making session! Had to make a drive to the vet for happy's checkup. Glad to say that she is fine and happier, if possible.

Okay second time editing the photos. I used lomography effect this time round, but i didn't do a good job. I guess the colours should be brighter to achieve that effect. oh well it was fun :)

Finally have the time to sit down and blog well about my day! It's such a great feeling to know that the mid-sems are over! seriously, if mid-sems are THAT stressful, i don't even wanna know how high the stress level's gonna be during end-sems. and don't get me started about the fact that our 2 months holidays are gone cos of SIP!

anyway, FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY met up with sunny yall! the last time i met him was a week and a half ago, when me sunny derald and sis went to LW's chamber concert. which was fab btw. lol i was chatting non stop and whooping around. WHOOP WHOOP

seriouslyyyyyyyyyyy i was really happy today! sad tho, wanted to get a ride home from tedric cos i didn't thought sunny would end so early! mwahahaha! btw got a ride home from lilin this week and it's incredibly happy and satisfying to know that you got home so early instead of painstakingly waiting for the bus to come like once in 10 minutes!

since i slept only for like 2 hours plus the night before, i totally conked out after reaching home and slept for 5 hours! so now im like WIDE AWAKE and i have this huge crave for jap food that imma satisfy tomorrow, hopefully :D

mole quite big hor.. i didn't have it initially it just grew lor. my mother said it was bad as it meant a lot of responsibility i have to carry in future so wanted me to remove it. dad went to consult someone and said since it's nearer to the neck than the shoulder it is a good thing.. something like

stayed in the room today cos sis's friends came over, and i was too shy and self-conscious to say hello, cos too many people already! haha but i went out eventually to eat dinner and help them take group photos.

right now it's a bored me + oily hair + wind blowing my hair. and im bored. spent almost the whole day surfing the net and alternating between facebook and twitter. addicted to twitter already! didn't feel that twitter was much of a deal initially but now im totally hooked.

LW's friends reminds me of my usual gang. we do the same thing - we take group photos and eat steamboat for 2-3 hours! then we go to study room to watch tv + movies.

mom just got the binder back from office (at last) but it's a tad rusty and old.. so i spent my 15 minutes trying to bind some used paper to test my skills. ended up perspiring like shit.

but anway, YAY FOR BINDER! now my papers won't be scattered all over the place and i won't feel so irritated. i am a neat freak ok! everything must be organised to do work what.

mom bought satay which is a happy thing HAHAHAHA love satay!

anyways i miss my friends and sunny. i get to see him only once per week seeing that both of us are very busy and can only make do for weekends. my friends are either damn busy kind (9-6 school hour kee siao timing), or our timetables clash. ahhhhhhhhhh i misss you allzxxzxzx.

and i keep pms-ing these days. gettting angry/irritated/sad easily.

anyway the trip back home was beautiful! like seriously.if people can take some time away from their commitments and appreciate things around them, you'll feel that life's actually quite wonderful.

then maybe you wouldn't want to waste a day of your life doing something you don't wanna do and start doing stuff meaningful/ things you like.

you can't please everybody.
might as well do something that makes you happy and live each day to the fullest. if everyone always tells you want to do and what not to do, you'll only end up being unhappy.. you're not even living.

studying and bullshit.. sometimes i wish i have the courage to throw them out of the window and do something crazy like running on the field, flying a kite, reading a book, doing what i want.

then again isn't it a faraway dream?

there are only some lucky ones in the world that can do what they love and succeed, imho. or maybe because they are brave and strong enough to pursue what they want.

why are people so confined to society... i wished it didn't happen that way.

anyway i think people should make an effort to remind themselves that they should be grateful for living one more day each day. to live like you're dying. (Kris Allen much? HAHA)

to be grateful that you are healthy, and that you always have a group of favourite people close to you who loves you like how you love them back.

maybe one day i'll sit down and make a bucket list for myself and make sure i'll try to fufil them or strike off all the contents in the list. you only live once, so grab it and cherish it.

right now im lonely.. LW's got chamber camp and HL's out dating. I took a 4 hour nap today so not gonna sleep so early.

Maybe will go out alone to run some errands and buy formal stuff for EBSK. it's too late to ask anyone now anyway and there's a 50% chance that i will most prolly stay at home instead.

anw i HATE THIS YEAR'S LECTURE NOTES! we have to print them instead of buying and bringing those loose papers to bind every week is such a troublesome thing and papers are flying everywhere now! i wish i had lilin's binder. HAHA like seriously. don't they sell stuff like bind puncher. thats so fang bian la i wish somebody FASTER invent them. and printing so many stuff in the lab is really damn mafan i don't want to talk about the FRS we have to print sooner or later.

anyway thanks to tiantian today in the biz lab. the computer refuses to log me in what is wrong manzxzxzxz.

Currently slacking at 1.48am waiting for LW.
Anyway, school's currently not doing quite good for me. Wanted to change elective from SAPM to BTM. Unfortunately so far not so successful. Im quite neutral over it anyways, cos SAPM's fun too :D but it's just a bit disappointed cos i got my hopes up zzz.

Worrying MAX about my gpa because i really really wanna have a shot at uni. so this year is THE year man! time to pull my grades up :D

the subjects this year quite heavy.. even though it's only 4 but i feel that it's quite difficult, harder than sec 2.2. LOL no joke imma chiong man!

anyway EBSK sucks. the thought of wearing formal for 6 weeks kills me. it's not those kind of formal its those strict kind. like must wear panty hose no crease line must have 2 spacing in your waistband so it's not so loose and not so tight etc etc must wear make up..

hmmz. anyway no school for mua tomorrow so yipee yoohoo :D gonna sleep LW is done :D

went to watch Kick-Ass at tampines not long ago. IT WAS FAB. FABBBBBB I love hit girl she looks better with purple hair imho. i love how the way it turned out. from a preppy kinda flick to a violent action film! woahhhhhh :D

cinema was really cold and not much people! haha it was fun :D

dyed my hair with HL just now she kept laughing! we keep competing on who has the tallest hair and we made our hair into funny shapes such as indoor stadium, minnie mouse etc LOLL

Read from PITNB that Stephanie Meyer's releasing yet another book again!
It's called 'The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella' apparently from this girl called Bree lah who appeared during the third book.

Not a big fan of hers tho. Gave up after reading new moon. IMHO a tad overrated ah, her books. but i like all the actors/actresses as individuals tho!

okay busy the whole day imma go grab a late lunch and hopefully when i come back its 5pm!

Here to blog! Woah im blogging so oftenly and diligently nowadays it's almost unbelievable!
anyway, just to show some random pixies and also just .. rant.

reading a book during late night with happy snoozing beside me. btw the book is called 'Skinned' it has a series of 3 books! an interesting read! science fiction related haha :D

just to give sunny an update on how much my plant is growing! look it is now even taller than the container! bicky is damn ecstatic she keeps saying it and praising it.

work day sitting at sis's room with a messy desk. swear im gonna pack it tomorrow man.

the lanyard thingy for the e-filing volunteer program at skcc! it was quite fun overall, machiam like customer service lo. first day was so damn busy cos there was only 3 of us - june me weishan and since it's the first day of the program, there were quite a lot of people and we worked non stop for 4 hours - plus no toilet break ok can you imagine!? worse thing is the ic not there! we had to do everything on our own and figure everything by ourselves! non stop standing and talking woahhhhhhh luckily they provided water!

second day was better tho. got into more understanding of the whole thingy plus there was a relief ic and also more people came! so with a total of 7 peeps i was actually able to slack during the last few hours!

weishan's bday gift for me! haha loved the cookies and i finished it btw! bicky kope the box!

anyway it was 妻子的诱惑's last episode today. totally a crying episode it was damn sad everyone was crying almost the full hour lor!!! and my mother wow she keeps taking tissue every 15 min and bicky also cry!! woah really a nice show :D

btw just saw a channel 8 show about a house infested with bed bugs it was saddening! luckily the bugs were exterminated!!

Let's see.. woke up and went to buy all his favourite food before meeting him. sweaty and tiring LOLLL and surprised him with food!

initially planned to go cycling.. but ALMOST EVERYTIME WE MEET IT RAINS/WILL RAIN. we changed our mind after seeing the dark clouds and headed to E! Hub for a movie instead.

caught the flu bug btw, now my turn to runny nose!

DAMN funny the movie please! content was okay quite cliche. LOL but who doesn't like cliche endings! some endings are better off cliche lah please. anyway freaking funny made me laugh like shit!!!! Its's M18 tho so alot coarse words but who cares really damn funny!

went to the beach for a nice stroll and also talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk

eh left for ikea for supper i was like CRAVING for the food god knows why it was pretty late when we reached there and i was so happy it was still taking orders. but when i came out of the toilet the serving line CLOSED!

why just why did i make that toilet trip! had to settle for 2 hotdogs and wanton mee at giants'. grrr.. decided that we must cycle and also eat ikea on the same day next time!!!!!!!

ended the night after he opened the presents. he was surprised and surprised = good. /heh

Here to blog, have been very busy since this week!
Met Cherelle and Candy at orchard to hang out last week, roamed around and ended the night after a 3 hour dinner at suki suhi and a long chat :D

Started work from thursday onwards. I thought it would be quite slack like usual but NO! work is shitloads and yeah, mum wasn't joking when she said she needed help in the office.

LOOK @ THIS! I spent the whole day sorting it out with sis for the salary thing zzz

It was worse okay! the pile looks so much better after sorting it out! zzzzzzzzzzzzz
been learning how to use quickbook, another kinda software for accounting. hate it la zz

met sunny during saturday! woke up at 10am with sis to do lunchbox for him but hmm dammit quite fail lo. the alphabets potato thingy were actually soft kind! i thought it was like french fries kind zzz so the alphabets all kena destroyed! had a good laugh actually and had to bribe bicky into helping us cook the chicken by driving LW to pp during a rainy day LOLL

anyway watched Alice in Wonderland at the cathay and it was sorta having a cosplay event thingy as cosplays were everywhere! roamed around and played fingertwister at starbucks before the show! First time at the grand cathay cinema it is damn big!!!!!

show was nice :D haha and i figured out halfway that the voice of the blue caterpillar, Absolem is actually the Alan Rickman, the actor who played snape! just googled it and i was right! damn im good :) btw the cheshire cat was damn cute!

ended the night with dinner @ compass as well as a runny-nose sunny.

spent my lovely sunday (today) going to christina's house in the afternoon to make sushi! we got a bit crazy halfway and ended up doing alot of funny stuff such as an onigiri face LOL and some other giri.. LOL and it was good my family ate it all up :D

chris claimed that the onigiri with the red band looked like a character in the movie Juno. LOL

headed to her room for chit chat, gossip and disturbing nike LOL. her cat is so cute la so chubby!!!! had a great day :)

anyway just tore down the hamper given during CNY and decided to have fun with the decos!
