Cherelle's 21st @ Studio M

Finally have had the time to sit down and blog properly. Exams are over yo!

Checked into the hotel early with cherelle, candy and sunny to prepare the decorations and stuff. Eric was super creative, he came up with so many ideas/materials for the party! The room was super gorgeous, decorated with fairy lights, balloons and candles.

Playing around before the rest of them arrived! Was super funny trying to doll up cherelle lol she is so fidgety she kept laughing all the time!

The rest all came and we ate, blasted music, played saboteur and laughed all night. It was super nice to have all your good friends surrounding you and to feel so comfortable with one another! :)While Cherelle went out to fetch her bf in, we surprised her by singing the birthday song when she got back!~

Oh not to forget we took a lot of group photos! Cherelle was looking at the photos the other day and she was complaining that i was holding this red cup in a lot of the shots. I didnt even realise LOL

There, the red cup. There was a 'scandalous' shot though but im not gonna upload it. LOL inside joke. Why did i sit so close to the camera my head damn big la!

Super love this shot because its super candid and super funny as well. Yeah we were having childish balloon fights and some of us girls dont really like balloons!

Someone threw a balloon in a mid shot. (Was it me?)

Overall i feel that it was fun and i feel warm in the heart knowing that i am still able to have fun and remain in contact with my secondary school friends i knew 6-17 years ago (minimum). Like seriously. I love my friends! I hope cherelle had a memorable one. I think she must have, due to a little hiccup the next day, right cherelle? But glad that everything still turned out alright in the end.

I guess this marks the end of me celebrating 21st parties this year (in a way). So glad that i am able to cross this milestone of mine with these people. :)

Time

Time. I am always very interested and marveled by the concept of Time. It exists everywhere, all the time. But the relativity of it is different according to different people, things, situations.

A minute can be perceived differently; a droning 60 seconds during a mundane lesson, or a critical moment during a life and death situation. Isn't it so interesting when the concept of time changes according to one's emotions or perception of situation?

I love talking about it with my sisters, discussing it, watching related movies (Back to the future etc). During my internship where i had spare capacity I googled about it - Grandfather/Time Paradoxes, how to go back in time, relativity of time - All the quantum physics stuff. I love to read about it but unfortunately I am definitely not an expert on it.

Time slips by, and every second is never the same as the next. Everyone knows that we have to cherish what we have lah blah blah but how many people actually LOOK and REALISE how apparent it is around us everyday? Looking at a very critical POV would shock you and make you in awe at the same time.

In a very broad perspective, no one ever realises the change Time brings to us until we look at it retrospectively in our lives.

Time is something given and we have to accept. I feel that it is the ultimate commodity. To ourselves at least. (Etc 'Are you willing to do XXXX in exchange of XXX years/months of your time?)

I think the most amazing thing about it is that you never know when your Time ends. It feels infinite in your youth, ending in your old age. Time gives you restriction yet freedom within. Wow.

I asked myself today 'What do you want to do for the rest of your life?'

I'm not sure, but I know that I'd rather spend my time thinking about it and doing it right than to waste my life doing something stupid.
