Myth - Albert Einstein

Came across this  rumour regarding Mr. Albert Einstein. This had been refuted and argued that its a myth, a story. Many versions of it has been published as well, but the crux of it remains the same. Since it cannot be verified im gonna take it as that. These are some excerpts from this particular version that I really liked. The original story consists of an argument between a professor and a student (presumably Einstein in this case).

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?
Professor: : Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as Cold?
Professor : Yes.
Student : No, sir. There isn't.

 (The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events )

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat, a Little Heat or No Heat.But we don't have anything called Cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.


Student : What about Darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as Darkness?
Professor: Yes. What is Night if there isn't Darkness?

Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light. But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and its called Darkness, isn't it? In reality, Darkness isn't. If it is, were you would be able to make Darkness Darker, wouldn't you?

蛇年 (Updated)

(Update)Some photos taken during Chinese New Year thus far. Took the effort to edit some of them using my phone apps while i was idling. Others... came from Sunny's DSLR and i was lazy to edit them with my non-existent photoshop skills. No captions, just photos. Enjoy yall. Overall my CNY was great, unexpectedly better and it was nice :) But it still feels weird without my other sis though... :X

Went to give out angpows and goodie bags for the old folks this year at a christian home this year too. It really was a special experience and i really felt happy to be able to participate in it. Hope i get to volunteer next year too!

Also managed to know more about my relatives and i feel that its really nice. Very happy. Mom's friends also came over for steamboat and lou hei and they were singing, drinking and we played poker with them too! They are a bunch of nice and spontaneous people!

Lastly, went over to candy's to celebrate her ah ma's 88th birthday! Managed to hang out and reminisce as we looked at candy's photo album filled with our secondary school memories. 6 years since i graduated from sec school. Sigh, life was so simple back then. If only i knew...

PS: As you can see i changed my blog banner. I was experimenting and i couldn't get the old photo back so had to make a new one quickly. Yes i noticed it's a bit blur but that's cos i edited it using my phone. May replace it soon but it'll have to do for now.

PS/S: Updated it again. Black and white banner because i am currently in love with that kinda tone now.

Dates w friends

Made some time to catch up with my friends whom are so busy working or studying. AT LAST~

Met Nadirah on weekday after her work and we went to Seoul Garden for dinner - my first time btw. IKR!? Had an awesome chat and we talked a lot for 3-4 hours plus~ After that we went to walk around and gave her her belated birthday present while she gave me a watch she bought while she went Thailand months ago! Super sweet of her to still think about me and i really hope to meet her more often and soon!

Met Reb the day after that and she accompanied me to buy stuff and we stupidly walked all the way to the places near the Fountain of Wealth there to eat Sakae.... we are dumb and dumber combo lol Bought books for her belated birthday present, and before that she was texting me if i had some books to lend her to read lol talk about telepathy~ As usual we chatted for a few hours before heading home..

Sorry for the short update. Didn't take much photos recently (as always) so yeah i have nothing much to update on. Toodles~

Chanced upon this short animated film released by disney which got a academy award nomination! it's really pretty good and the female character is so darn cute~
