Fifth Year Getaway

Spent our fifth year together @ a short staycation (i dont like this word..) via Oasia Hotel. Booked it a month ago so the rate was considered affordable, and located at such a convenient place as well!

Went to have korean food for dinner. It's my first time having korean cuisine and i really liked it. I literally tried EVERY side dish. It's really different because it's more refreshing and the taste was also really different. The meat was super good though. We ordered buffet so the meat was free flow. Could have more but i had so many dishes in front of me already!

Trying to wrap kimchi, pork belly, and putting several sauces and vegetables they provided in lettuce and eating it at one go! It's really nice! Besides all the dishes i still had a bibimbap in my left and kimchi soup on my right. Omggggggg looking at it makes me hungry

Me: OI 做么你开店没有跟我讲???
Sunny: OH YA HOR SORRY

Was walking around after dinner and spotted the foosball table. Nevertheless we played, and it was my first time lol. Needless to say i lost... 1-5(?) Bah lost count of how much times he won..

Went back and finally we exchanged presents! Made him this framed scrapbook page. Spent quite some time searching for ideas, getting the materials, and im really proud of this!

Also made him a card filled with words. Everything is made from scratch.. i drew the heart shape instead of my usual style -  folding it and cut lol the black border was also coloured by me painstakingly... and also had to draw lines before writing to ensure the words isnt slanted lol

Sunny's gift to me - A secret diary as well as a novel by one of my favourite author. I really love it!!!!

Had sakae sushi the next day for brunch after checking out the next day, and ran some errands with him and also accompanied him while he had his haircut before booking in.

Overall i really enjoyed myself, and was happy to accompany him and enjoy quality time together - shopping, playing, laughing and eating. I had a really good time, especially when we weren't always able to celebrate our anniversaries every year for the past few years, and to have a full day was super awesome. I can't believe we reached our 5th year mark just like that. Time passes so fast, i feel as though we have been together only for like what.. 2 years? I can't wait to celebrate our next anniversary already
